Research conducted by the European Interactive Advertising Association has predicted a bright future for advertising on the internet for next year.
The conducted research indicates that advertisers throughout Europe are to direct more of their advertising budgets towards the World Wide Web.
In fact, the expected increase in expenditure by internet marketing services within Europe is 7.6% year on year.
Online video advertising appears to be of growing interest within the industry, with 33% of companies planning to increase spending in this field.
Consequently, the figures suggest that television advertising may be under pressure.
