In accordance with numerous articles, which are currently circulating the internet regarding the future of internet marketing, media services firm Magna have conducted a study, suggesting a bright future for search marketing and online advertising.
As you may be aware, online advertising has grown to such an extent that its expenditure outweighs the more traditional forms of advertising; television and radio. (A topic discussed in the previous Gillissa blog post ‘The Growth of Online Advertising’)
This in itself offers evidence that online advertising is growing ever popular.
Magna stated that, despite a slight downturn in revenues this year, there will be a vast growth in this area over the course of the next five years.
Brian Wieser, senior vice president at Magna, said: “Search advertising caused an expansion of the market, making it possible for millions of small and medium sized enterprises to do what we call advertising”.
