Google Adwords At A Glance

Now that you know some of the important terms, you will be eager to find out what goes into making that little ad you find after a search query provides relevant results.

A Google Adwords account is structured like a pyramid, expanding down by levels, which are as follows: Account, Campaign and Ad Group.

Google Adwords permits 25 campaigns and 100 Ad groups per account. To explain further, campaigns enable you to divide the products into categories, and ad groups within each campaign enable you to divide items further into sub groups.

A useful tool when you have a lot of products to manage effectively.

Using this structure, by either campaign or ad group, you can choose to show your ads all over the world, or limit their exposure by country, or even city.

Furthermore, you can let them run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or turn them off for any time period you so choose. The advertising world is your oyster.
